Carson wanted to make another video for YouTube the other night. Here it is:
I’ll have to get Marissa and Ginger (and possibly the cats if they’ll sit still long enough) into some videos. People seem to like the pets and kids on YouTube!

I’ve been playing with the video capabilities of my (relatively) new Mac. Carson and I were sitting there playing with the video recorder the other day, and came up with this video:
I’ve got a few more videos up on YouTube, and you can check out my YouTube Channel by clicking on this link.

Huh?… What the heck is Digital Ethnography? Basically, it’s ethnography in the digital age. Not sure what that means, but the video from the folks at Kansas State University is a thought-provoking look at what words will mean as we move forward in a digital age.
Check it out and let me know what you think.
Want to win 150 thriller novels, signed by the authors? That’s the concept of a new website called (strangely enough) www.150thrillers.com. Put together by International Thriller Writers, Inc., the contest is free and gets you signed up for their free monthly ITW newsletter.
If you enjoy a good thriller (and I certainly do!), then you might as well enter the contest. Check it out today!

I just ran across a great post from Robert Scoble’s scobeleizer blog. In this post, he talks about a recent “photowalk” he and a few others did to a train museum in Sacramento.
“Photowalking” is where you get a bunch of people together and head out to some site of interest with your digital cameras and take a bunch of pictures. Then, you head to a shared photo site, like www.flickr.com, and upload all your pictures with the same tags. That way, people can find all of the related pictures.
With the way that people are getting more and more isolated in today’s society, photowalking is a great way to connect to others in the real world, instead of just online.
I’ll have to think of some kind of photowalk I can arrange when the weather gets a bit warmer (or one that is indoors).
Later,
Chuck

I just found this Director on YouTube who is creating a whole series of “Mr. Deity” video shorts that are pretty funny. You can check out my favorite episode right here:
Hope you enjoy!

A little while ago, I received a call at work from a telemarketer trying to sell me something. The problem… I couldn’t understand a damn thing he said. You can check out the call - with my video additions - at YouTube:
